Born and raised in the heart of New Orleans, Charles Nero ain’t no stranger to the streets or the kitchen. Since 12 years old, he been workin’ them pots, learnin’ the flavors and traditions that make Cajun cookin’ what it is. But life wasn’t always easy—back in 2018, when he lost his mama while bein’ incarcerated, he knew it was time to switch things up. That was his wake-up call.
Determined to make a better way for himself, he packed up and moved to Texas. At first, he was just throwin’ parties as a promoter in Houston, but he started to notice somethin’—folks wasn’t just pullin’ up for the music or the vibes. They came for his food. That’s when the vision clicked.
Not long after, he relocated to Dallas, completed culinary school and baby, it been up ever since! Chuck’s Cajun Cuisine took off, servin’ up meal preps, private chef services, daily plates, and full-on catering.
